Cleveland Browns thoughts- Game 2

  • I’d love to see Josh Dobbs working with starters — I think he’s more talented than usual but just not skilled enough for starter capability. He did quite a lot working with guys who may not be on the team in any fashion.
  • Gonna probably see Jacoby Brissett for last game of preseason. He will either make or break the season. Think Browns really trust him or they would’ve grabbed somebody else by now.
  • The defense is pretty bad and defensive line is just too young and inexperienced, especially the interior. I think Browns may try to get a vet in there who is more than pretty good otherwise Browns are gonna get run all over.
  • Cade York missed a kick but it was 55 yards so not gonna sweat it. Hilarious to see fans get so excited for a kicker. Hope he pans out
  • Jerome Ford will replace Demetric Felton on the team. Wouldn’t be surprised if Browns used him in season alongside Chubb/Hunt/D’Ernest. He’s got a lot of skill and has had many great runs behind an offensive line that won’t exist for the team. Again would love to watch him behind starters.
  • Liked the debut of David Bell. He will definitely be good over the course of the year.
  • Browns actually showed energy and effort in this game which yes — its preseason but still fans want to see something.
  • One of those times where the sooner the season starts the better. Majority of this game is filled with guys we will never see again. Bring the starters for a bit and lets go!!
  • Unclear what will happen with Josh Rosen. Again he was a more than solid QB in college — something is up for him to still be riding final string on teams. Just looks like he’s better than usual but not sure team will risk taking a chance on him.
  • One more game and week then I’ll submit predictions. Gonna be a weird season and some unpredictable outcomes. GO BROWNS!!
