The NFL playoffs start today, with 6 games in a weekend span. Lets go preview the games and make some frisky predictions!!!

Indianapolis v. Buffalo

This may be a closer game than people expect. Buffalo is rolling into the playoffs on fire, just crushing teams left and right. However, the Colts got in the playoffs, bit close for comfort, but they have the strong running game and the top notch defense to boot. Sound familiar? A high powering offense running on all cylinders v. a scrappy team with a strong running game and top defense? I think this game is this years’ Baltimore Tennessee matchup from last year. Ravens and Lamar came rolling in, but the Titans and Derrick Henry put a stop to that and rolled. I am going with the Colts for the upset, unless Philip Rivers completely blows things, but he’s a savvy vet so who knows. Colts 34 Bills 27

LA Rams v. Seattle

Division rivals who hate each other in a first round matchup? Hmmm, that sounds good, I will have some of that. Seattle had a weird but dominant season. They started on fire, went about 5–6 games where things were getting ugly, then came back around to the good side. The Rams have had some struggles and Jared Goff looks average and overrated like we all thought. The Rams defense will be key. If they cant stop Russell Wilson, its Seahawks all the way. I think Seattle pulls off a close one. Seahawks 27 Rams 23

WFT v. Tampa Bay

There has always been a running joke when they put the Washington Football Team as an acronym it almost looks like ‘WTF’ and really the season could have spiraled in that direction. As Lee Corso would say, ‘NOT SO FAST!!’. After jettisoning Dwayne Haskins, Alex Smith, who is clearly Comeback Player of the Year, has led this team back in a terrible division and into the playoffs. The WFT defense is no joke. The front seven are legit. However, Tom Brady has one last hurrah and the Bucs are humming pretty good on offense these days. Think Tampa Bay takes care of business in this one. Bucs 38 WFT 20

Baltimore v. Tennessee

Hey we just talked about them from last year, and now they have a rematch!! Unbelievable! Things are bit different now. Ravens struggled a bit through parts of the season, but have lately been on a roll. They did end the season facing crap teams, so will see how good they actually are. Meanwhile, the Titans have kinda staggered along throughout the season and leaned heavily on Derrick Henry. He eclipsed 2k yards rushing joining an elite group in that regard. Defensively, the Titans aren't that good as last year. This may be the time, Lamar Jackson actually wins a playoff game. I mean if he loses again, to the same team, there has to be criticism on if he can actually win playoff games. That’s kind of a big deal. Anyways, I think Ravens get this one. Ravens 34 Titans 27

Chicago v. New Orleans

I get this feeling, despite the mid afternoon primetime slot, that the Saints are gonna roll in this game. Da Bears are not that impressive and just kinda fell into the postseason here. If Drew Brees isn’t playing well than maybe this is a close game, but the Saints defense is still legit. The offense can still roll with just the running game. I can’t imagine Mitch Trubisky beating Brees in a big game like this. Bears are frauds to me. Saints roll. Saints 41 Bears 17

Cleveland v. Pittsburgh

Another game of division rivals that hate each other!! Count me in again! Especially this one, as I am a Browns fan. First playoff game since 2002, lets go! Been a crazy week. The Browns won’t have their head coach, three assistants, top offensive guard, a receiver, their starting safety, AND they just started practicing on Friday. So you know things are going great. I still feel a weird calmness and confidence here. The Steelers ended the season as poorly as possible, the Browns have ZERO pressure in this game. The Steelers have all the pressure and need to prove the 11–0 start wasn’t a fluke and they are legit. I’m a homer and going with the Browns here, nothing to lose, everything against them. They have the players still do this. Let it rip Baker! Run wild Chubb and Hunt! Have some sack lunches Myles! Browns in a nail biter. Browns 24 Steelers 20
